7 Habits of Highly Ineffective People

Geschrieben von S. Hagen am 13. September, 2007

Steven Covey hat sein Buch “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” über 10 Millionen mal verkauft. Henrik Edberg hat auf seinem Blog den Spieß umgedreht und die “7 Habits of Highly Ineffective People” aufgezählt. Wirklich gut:

  1. Not showing up.
  2. Procrastinating half the day. (aufschieben)
  3. When actually doing something, doing something that isn’t the most important thing right now.
  4. Thinking too much.
  5. Seeing the negative and downsides in just about anything.
  6. Clinging to your own thoughts and being closed to outside influences.
  7. Constantly on information overload.

Im Vergleich dazu die “richtigen” Effektivitäts-Regeln von Covey:

  1. Be Proactive
  2. Begin with the End in Mind
  3. Put First Things First
  4. Think Win/Win
  5. Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
  6. Synergize

one more book to drive people into burnout
1. people have too much meetings
2. people have too much work
3. people can’t choose their work
4. no thinking no quality
5. because your boss made one more bad decision
6. because nobody would listen anyway
